To achieve optimal cooling, please ensure that you fill the box with enough ice. Using only a small amount of ice will not be effective, as shown in the image below.

If you only place one or two items in the cooler while leaving most of the space empty, the cooling performance will be significantly reduced. This is because the temperature of the air inside the cooler will be much higher than that of the cold items. Therefore, to maximize cooling efficiency, it’s important to fill the cooler as much as possible.

Ice retention Tests: 

1.First Test: Boright rotomolded cooler box was placed in an indoor environment at 25°C and filled with crushed ice. The results showed that the ice remained intact until the seventh day.

2.The second test involved filling the cooler with ice and testing it in an environment of approximately 25 degrees Celsius. The ice completely melted by the sixth day. Naturally, if only a small amount of ice is used, it will melt much faster. The rate at which the ice melts is significantly influenced by the amount of ice, the surrounding temperature, and the frequency of opening the cooler. This is merely the result of testing under ideal conditions.

3.The third test was conducted by our Japanese client in an environment with a temperature of approximately 35 degrees Celsius, with the cooler filled with ice. The ice completely melted by about the fifth day. Naturally, if only a small amount of ice is used, it will melt much faster. The rate at which the ice melts is significantly influenced by the amount of ice, the ambient temperature, and the frequency of opening the cooler. This is merely the result of testing under ideal conditions.
